Description
Listed for your consideration today is this Beautiful 2025 David J. Pace
Classical built of Legacy Brazilian Rosewood and German Spruce.
I could never explain how beautiful and Important this guitar is so I Have added a write up from David Pace
Recently completed legacy Brazilian rosewood and German spruce traditional solid-top.
650mm scale, all French polish. Scheller tuners with hand-engravings and ebony buttons.
This instrument took approximately 13 years to complete. It began as a personal project, but I was only able to work on it occasionally, as commissions took priority. So, any of my friends who have visited my workshop in the past 13 years will likely recognize this instrument from parts that were hanging around in various stages of completion.
The rosewood was re-sawn from an approximately 100-year-old bed frame, which revealed absolutely perfect cuts of quarter-sawn material. This is the most striking set of wood from lot in terms of its figure and flawless grain orientation and presents a pronounced example of what is referred to as “spider-webbing” in Brazilian rosewood. It was an honor to work with such material.
All other materials were selected from among the best I have ever found. The soundboard braces were cut from a master-grade split-billet German spruce violin soundboard.
Based Out of Baltimore MD David Pace has become one of the top Classical Guitar builders and Luthier in the United States.
