Robert Mondell is a world class luthier from NJ who has built for many pros including Charlie Starr, Gilby Clarke, Rich Robinson, Nick Perri, Chuck Garric and the band Overkill.

This Bass here is a special instrument built in the late 2000’s. It is a prototype built with a chambered mahogany body. There are a few small wear marks in-between the front and rear upper bouts from use(pictured). The face and back of the Bass are steel plates. To say this bass resonates is an understatement. The engravings on the faceplate and headstock plate were all done by Mondell himself.

The pickups and electronics along with the bridge are similar to A thunderbird and sound great.

The neck is a very comfortable profile, and the bass is very easy to play!

The frets are in great shape, and the bass was recently setup and plays great.

This bass is one of a kind like all Mondell Custom Guitars and Basses and it will not let you Down!
