Description

This 1998 Martin D-40 is an outstanding guitar.

The Guitar is in very good shape and shows very little wear. The guitar was just serviced by Brothers music shop in Wind Gap PA. They are experts at their craft. The guitar had a few loose braces re glued, and the center seam had a very small crack that was reglued and is almost un-noticeable.

The top on this guitar has a very nice tight flame almost to it and looks great with the appointments that the D-40 models have.

These guitars were a mix between a D-28 with some nice touches found on the D-45 models . This model has solid Abalone Inlays on it. As well as the D-45 Headstock inlay.

The neck is staright and the guitar was set up at Brother’s Music Shop. The neck set is great, and there is plenty of saddle to go lower on the action if desired. It is currently set to factory specs.

The frets are in great shape, and every note rings loud and clear.

The guitar will be shipped in its original case.
