Description
Well, here’s one you don’t see every day.
A September 1975 Built Rickenbacker 4080 in Jetglo finish.
This 4080 has been taken care of and brought in by its original owner for us to sell.
The body is in very good shape with just a few small chips and on the front of the guitar. There is also so light rash on the back of the body.
The paint is slightly worn away on the neck pockets of the body (pictured). The paint on both necks is in really good shape. There is a scratch in the paint on the Treble side of the guitar neck(pictured).
The pickups and electronics work and sound great. This 4080 was rewired at some point and had an extra toggle switch added. It has since been set back to stock and the extra toggle switch is still present but not hooked up. The Bass volume knob is missing its sticker but is original.
The 4080 was recently set up and had the frets polished.
The frets are in great shape also.
It plays and feels incredible. Every note rings loud and clear.
All four of the truss rods work properly.
More pics upon request.
