Description

Here we have this great sounding 1966 Ampeg GS-12 Rocket 2 amplifier. These amps run around 12 watts and have a great clean tone. This amp has been recently serviced and given a clean bill of health and has been updated to a three-prong power cord. The speaker has been upgraded to a Jensen P12Q speaker which is excellently paired with this amp and creates a very smooth clean sound. Included with the amp is the original footswitch to toggle the built in tremolo. We believe that the tolex has been recovered at some point as well with original production fabric. Overall this amp is in very good condition for it’s age but shows some light tarnish and pitting on the faceplate along with some mild scuffs and scratches on the tolex.
