Just in is this great 1961 Gibson Melody Maker Double

This is the first year of Double Cut Melody Makers. This is an early model with the offset bridge studs and plain Aluminum bridge.

The guitar is all original minus a re-fret that was done years ago.

The body is in great shape with light checking and a few small dings here and there.

It is in amazing shape for a 65-year-old guitar.

The pickups and electronics are all original and work and sound great.

The neck is in great shape and is a very comfortable profile.

The guitar was just setup and had a fret dress. Every note rings loud and clear.

Will be shipped in its original soft case with hang tag. The case compartment door has separated from the case but is included with the case.
