Description

Up for sale is this cool early 50’s Orpheum 867ES-2 Guitar.

Also referred to as the Might Midget, this 23” scale guitar is a treat to play.

This Orpheum has had the original body binding replaced due to its deterioration.

The neck was reset at that point, and the body received a light lacquer clearcoat and polish. The imperfections were left in the body to preserve the vibe of the guitar.

The guitar now plays great with low action.

The Franz pickups work and sound great. As you can see, the bridge pickup cover is partially cracked.

The electronics are original and work as they did from new.

The bridge is a replacement but works as it should.

The guitar had strap buttons added to it.

The original end pin is broken off in the body hole.

The neck has a nice thick profile and is very comfortable to play.

The frets are original. With the recent neck reset all notes ring true and with low action.

This is a great vintage guitar that is fun to play.

Will be shipped in a non-original gig bag
